Dear friends,

(re: Some form of bodily dissatisfaction is common among pre-teens. If dissatisfaction is great, it may cause them to become shy or very easily embarrassed. In other cases, teens may act opposite---loud and angry---in an effort to compensate for feelings of self-consciousness and inferiority.)

Is "In other cases" used correctly here? If talking about the different cases among the same kind of people, such as pre-teens, I think we can use "In other cases" as a connecting tool. But to talk about the difference between two kinds of people, pre-teens and teens, is it right to use "In other cases" as a connecting tool?

A million thanks.
